Senator Feyen Receives Wisconsin Counties Association’s “Outstanding Legislator Award”

State Senator Dan Feyen (R-Fond du Lac) has once again been honored by the Wisconsin Counties Association (WCA) with a “WCA Outstanding Legislator Award” for his exceptional work on behalf of county government during the 2023-2024 Legislative Session.

“As always, Senator Feyen has proven to be a strong advocate for county government both in Senate District 18, as well as for all of Wisconsin. We are appreciative of his leadership and dedication to improving our state,” said WCA President & CEO Mark D. O’Connell. “The partnership the Association has with Senator Feyen and his staff is so valued, and his tireless commitment to his constituents and the taxpayers makes for a better Wisconsin.”

The “WCA Outstanding Legislator Award” is handed out biennially to a select group of legislators who have represented county interests in both the legislature and in their districts. These legislators have demonstrated leadership for counties on key issues, legislation and the state budget.

Senator Feyen was recognized on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 in Washington County. Present at the award presentation included Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann, Washington County Board Chair Jeff Schleff, Washington County Treasurer Scott Henke, and Washington County Register of Deeds Sharon Martin.
