Marian University women’s volleyball (9-16, 3-7 NACC) was defeated at home by Edgewood 25-17, 25-14, 13-25, 25-14.

- The opening set saw the Sabres trail 8-7 before Edgewood went on a 7-1 run to build a seven-point lead.
- Edgewood brought its lead out to 24-14 but Marian was able to build some momentum scoring three straight points before Edgewood took the set.
- The Eagles were able to start fast in the second jumping out to an 8-2 advantage.
- Marian went point-for-point with the Eagles for most of the set from there with Edgewood using a 5-1 spurt to end the set.
- The Sabres showed life in the third set scoring the first seven points and pulling ahead 12-2.
- Marian wouldn’t allow the Eagles back into the match and closed the third with a 5-1 run.
- Edgewood was able to bounce back opening the fourth set with an 8-2 spurt.
- The Eagles were able to build their lead out to 18-5 before taking the match with a 25-14 win.

- The Eagles held a slim 49-45 advantage for kills, but the Sabres had a heft advantage in digs at 66-46.
- Edgewood finished with 12 blocks and seven service aces.
- Marian had double-digit kills in all but one set and hit .452 in the third.
- The Eagles finished with a .261 hitting percentage after committing only 14 attack errors for the match.
- Marian falls to 25-31 all-time against Edgewood with the Eagles extending their winning streak to 21 matches.
