Marian University women’s hockey (0-3-0, 0-2-0-0 NCHA) dropped its first two games of conference action falling to No. 9 Adrian 8-0 and 5-1.

- The opener of the series was all Adrian as the Bulldogs scored three goals in the first, four in the second, and one in the third to defeat Marian 8-0.
- Marian opened the second game scoring a power-play goal just 30 seconds in.
- Senior Brynn Weaver netted her first goal of the season with assists to junior Dayna Jones and fellow senior Alyssa Heim.
- The Bulldogs would score a pair of goals separated by just 1:16 to take a 2-1 lead into the second period.
- Adrian then pulled away scoring a goal in the second and two more in the third to put the final at 5-1.

- The Sabre penalty kill allowed just one goal on six chances in the opener and was perfect in game two on five chances.
