Sabre women’s hockey suffers sweep at Bethel

Marian University women’s hockey (4-8-1, 3-4-1-0 NCHA) fell to Bethel 3-1 to close out a non-conference road series.

  • Just like game one, the defenses controlled the pace early.
  • Bethel was able to take a 1-0 lead into the second period scoring with just 2:41 left in the first.
  • Marian scored its first goal of the weekend 4:50 into the second when junior Jadyn Gorski scored her fifth of the season.
  • The 1-1 game didn’t last long, however, as Bethel retook the lead just 2:13 later.
  • Bethel would then ice the game scoring 3:12 into the final period.
