Marian University women’s ice hockey (4-10-1, 2-5-1 NCHA) fell to LFC in the series finale by a 5-2 final.

- Lake Forest was able to get on the board early scoring at the 6:09 mark and 12:51.
- Just 33 seconds later senior Sydney Schipper lit the lamp for Marian with assists from freshmen Zowie Hunter and Piper Miller.
- The 2-1 Lake Forest advantage held going into the second period but the Foresters added to their lead with two more goals.
- The third period opened with sophomore Jessica Tadevich netting a 5-on-3 power-play goal, her first score as a Sabre and it was assisted by sophomore Olivia Laube.
- It took the Foresters just 29 seconds to net a short-handed goal and put the final at 5-2.

- Marian finished with a 32-30 advantage for shots in the game.
- Face-offs were in favor of LFC by a 29-25 margin.
- The Sabres were 1-for-5 on the power play and held Lake Forest scoreless on three power-play chances.
- Marian falls to 1-33-2 all-time against Lake Forest.
