Marian University women’s hockey (4-6-1, 3-4-1-0 NCHA) defeated Trine 2-1 in overtime to finish a five-point weekend against the Thunder.

- After being shutout the previous night, Trine opened the scoring 8:11 in for its first lead of the series.
- Junior Jadyn Gorski lit the lamp 4:15 later to tie the game at 1-1; assists to senior Alyssa Heim and sophomore Logan Crawford.
- This would be all the offense either team could manage for the remainder of regulation.
- With 3:20 left in overtime, junior Sydney Schipper would net her first goal of the season to earn Marian an extra point. Crawford assisted the game-winner for her second multi-point game of the season.

- Marian was outshot 35-32 for the game with Marian recording 17 shots in the second period. The Sabres also had the only two shots in overtime between the two squads.
- The Sabres held a 43-28 edge in the face-off circle.
- Neither team had a power-play goal where Trine had five chances and Marian had four.
- One of the Sabre penalty kills came in overtime.
- Marian finishes the first half of NCHA play in fifth with 11 points.
