Sabre women’s bowling finishes second at GLBC Event No. 3

Marian University women’s bowling finished with a 161.59 average to place second at the third GLBC event of the season.

  • Marian started in third after finishing with 4,005 in traditional play.
  • The Sabres had just one game above 900 pins with a 934 coming in the fourth game.
  • Marian had a strong bounce-back effort in Baker play finishing with 2,620 pins, the most in the field.
  • The Sabres averaged a least 162 pins in three of the four sets.
  • Marian had its highest average in the first st at 170.5 and closed out the third set with a 200.

Senior Brenna Schiekiera finished third with a 183.4 average. She closed out traditional play with a 203 and a 201.

 

 

 

Junior Kyley Olson finished just one spot behind Schiekiera with a 178.0 average. She had three games with more than 180 pins.

 

 

 

 

Senior Jocelynn Eggert took eighth-place with a 171.0 average.
