Marian University women’s basketball (2-6, 0-2 NACC) outscored Lakeland in the second half but was defeated by Lakeland 65-55.

- Lakeland opened the second half strong building its lead out to 23 points at 50-27.
- Marian was able to rally over the final 6:45 using a 15-2 spurt to only trail 52-42 going into the final stanza.
- The two teams went back-and-forth in the fourth with Marian unable to chip into its deficit.
- The Sabres outscored Lakeland 33-23 in the second half but fell by a final of 65-55.

- Marian shot 21-of-64 (.328) for the game and only 4-of-29 (.138) from beyond the arc.
- The Sabres went a combined 15-of-34 (.441) during the first and third quarters.
- Lakeland shot 24-of-61 (.393) with 8-of-31 (.258) coming on three-pointers.
- The Sabre defense held the Muskies to zero three-pointers in the second half on 10 attempts.
- The turnover battle leaned towards Lakeland by just one but Marian outscored the Muskies 11-3 in points off turnovers.
