  WOMEN

  • Sophomore Jude Al Taie placed 13th in the 200-meter dash with a personal best of 32.50, beating her previous best of 34.72 by more than two seconds, set in 2024. She also aimed to improve in the long jump, where she had moved into second all-time on Marian’s indoor leaderboard last meet at Ripon with a jump of 4.05 meters (13-0), but she scratched on all three attempts today.
  • Freshman Charlotte Touw broke the three-minute barrier in the 800 meters for the first time, finishing 11th in 2:58.64. She ran a 1:23 opening lap and a 1:34 second lap, passing one competitor on the final lap.
  • Sophomore Grace Blauert, Marian’s pole vault record holder, finished fourth with a height of 2.90 meters (9-6). After clearing the opener, she was unable to clear her second height.

MEN

  • Senior Matthew Linn placed 11th in the discus with a collegiate personal best of 36.69 meters (120-4.49). This fell just short of his all-time best of 38.07 meters (124-11) set in high school, but secures him as second all-time in Marian discus history, behind Kenneth Equitz’s mark of 39.64 meters set at the 2023 St. Norbert Invite. Linn also competed in the shot put, advancing to the finals with a prelim throw of 12.80 meters (41-11.94) and finishing ninth in the finals with a best of 12.58 meters (41-3.28).
  • Freshman Malik Holmes ran 12.41 in his first collegiate 100-meter dash, placing 20th. The mark is just 0.09 seconds off his personal best of 12.32, set during his sophomore year of high school in 2023.
  • Senior Jackson Shultis placed 22nd in the shot put with a throw of 6.28 meters (20-7.24), following a personal-best mark of 6.40 meters at Ripon in early February.
