Sabre track and field competes in final tune-up before NACC Championships

Marian University track and field traveled to the St. Norbert Invitational to compete in its final meet before the NACC Championships.

  WOMEN

  • Freshman Ryaan Williams competed in the 100-meter dash finishing with a time of 15.26 seconds and the 200-meter dash for the first time this season clocking in a time of 33.49 ticks.
  • Fellow freshman Madeline DeVries finished the 1,000-meter run with a time of 7:37.64.

MEN  

  • Senior Connor Powers improved on his 400-meter dash tim finishing 16th at 53.07 seconds.
  • Powers also earned a 14th-place finish in the 200-meter dash at 23.72 seconds.
  • Junior Max Ramker took home a 21st-place finish in teh 100-meter dash at 11.79 seconds, and he finished the 200-meter dash in 24.01 seconds to place 16th.
  • In the field events, junior Matt Linn placed 10th in the shot put with a toss of 12.54 meters, and had the second-best discus throw in program history at 35.25 meters.
  • Junior Jackson Shultis also had a 6.15-meter toss in the shot put.
