Marian University softball (20-18, 15-9 NACC) dropped its final games of NACC action falling at MSOE 4-3 and 10-0 in five innings.

GAME 1
- Things were quiet in game one until junior Ariana Schliepp lifted a three-run homer in the top of the third with two outs, her third homer of the season.
- The Marian lead didn’t last long, however, as the Raiders put together a two-out rally in their half of the third to take a 4-3 lead.
- Only one Sabre would reach scoring position the rest of the way as the 4-3 score held.
GAME 2
- The second game was all MSOE as the Raiders were able to sweep the Sabres and jump Marian in the NACC standings.
- The Raiders scored four runs in the first inning, five in the third, and a single run in the fourth.
- Marian was limited to just two hits as the Sabres were shutout for the ninth time this season.
- The Sabres are now 49-34-1 all-time against MSOE and have not won on the road against the Raiders since 2022.
- Marian travels to Aurora for the NACC Tournament May 8-11 with their opening opponent and time to be determined based on results at the end of the weekend.
