Marian University softball (3-7, 0-0 NACC) earned a 4-1 win over Allegheny before falling to Transylvania 5-0 to close out its spring trip.

GAME 1 (W, 4-1, HOME)
- The game started as a pitching duel with neither side finding much offense through the first four innings.
- Allegheny was able to open the scoring in the top of the fifth, but Marian was able to take advantage of an error in the bottom half of the frame to tie the game.
- The Sabres were able to take their first lead with a two-out rally opened with a pinch-hit double from Kerena Wood that plated a run.
- Juniors Carissa Heisdorf and Hope Matta followed by bringing in runs with singles themselves.
- The Gators brought the tying run to the plate in the top of the seventh but Marian was able to hold them scoreless.
- This was the first victory over Allgheny for Marian in three meetings with this also being the first match-up since 2004.
GAME 2 (L, 5-0, AWAY)
- The Sabre offense was limited to only three hits in the second game of the day.
- Transylvania managed two runs in the first, two in the third, and one in the sixth to earn the shutout win.
- Marian is 0-2 against the Pioneers with the other meeting coming in 2018.
