Marian University NCAA men’s ice hockey (4-5-0, 1-2-1-1 NCHA) erased a three-goal deficit but fell to No. 6/8 Adrian by a 4-3 final.

- Adrian needed just 12 seconds to score to open the scoring for the game.
- The Bulldogs added to their lead at the 13:04 mark and netted a short-handed goal 3:15 later to lead 3-0.
- On that same power play, Marian was able to build momentum with senior Matteo Pecchia scoring with 3:12 left in the period.
- Sophomores Nolan Flint and Cole Carlson each assisted the goal that put the score at 3-1 after 20 minutes.
- Flint then netted a goal of his own at the 6:05 mark with assists from junior Noah Pickart and freshman Brady Brenner.
- The Sabres then tied the game with 7:51 left in the second with a goal from freshman Edison Weeks, his first collegiate goal, and assists to freshman Dayne Tews and Flint.
- The 3-3 draw held going into the final period.
- Another special teams goal from Adrian broke the tie with the Bulldogs netting the eventual game-winner on a power play with 14:00 left to play.

- Marian outshot Adrian in two of the three periods finishing with a 28-27 edge for the category.
- The Sabres also held a 34-31 advantage on face-offs.
- Each team had a power-play goal with Marian having four chances and Adrian three.
- This is the fourth game this season decided by just one goal that Marian has played in.
- Adrian is now 34-5-2 all-time against Marian with wins in the last four games.
