Sabre NCAA men’s hockey drops opener to No. 3/3 Adrian

Marian University NCAA men’s ice hockey  (0-2-1, 0-1-0 NCHA) dropped its first game of NCHA play to No. 3/3 Adrian 5-1.

  • After a quiet third period, the third period was filled with special-teams goals.
  • The Bulldogs took a 3-0 lead at the 7:30 mark with a power-play goal.

  • Sophomore Brendan Bottem and senior Noah Pickart each picked up an assist on the play.

Senior Noah Pickart had a team-high three shots and an assist.
