Marian University men’s volleyball (11-13, 4-5 NACC) took the opening set 31-29 but dropped the next three 25-15, 25-14, 25-20.

- Concordia Wisconsin opened the match with a 12-7 lead, the largest advantage of the opening set.
- Marian then quickly went on a 7-2 run to erase the deficit and tie the set at 14-14.
- The Falcons were able to rebuild a 22-20 advantage before Marian rallied with a 4-1 spurt to lead 24-23.
- Each team had three chances to take the set, but the Sabres eventually pulled out the marathon set with a pair of kills sandwiched between a block.
- CUW jumped out to a 17-8 lead in the second and never looked back to even the sets.
- The third set started similarly as the Falcons scored the first six points to open.
- Marian was able to chip away at the deficit and only trailed 13-12.
- The Falcons responded closing the set with a 12-2 run including the final eight points.
- The Sabres were finally able to get out to a strong start and opened the fourth ahead 12-10.
- CUW responded, however, going on a 10-2 spurt to lead by six, which proved to be the difference in the set.

- Marian held a 57-50 edge for kills and had a 57-42 margin for digs.
- The Falcons had eight service aces and 12 total blocks.
- The Sabres had 31 attacking errors in total to only 12 for CUW.
- Marian is now 7-3 all-time against Concordia Wisconsin having dropped the last two meetings.
