Sabre Men’s Soccer Stymied by Ripon

Marian University men’s soccer (1-1-0, 0-0-0 NACC) fell in the inaugural Highway 23 Derby at Ripon by a 3-0 final.

  • Ripon would ring a shot off the word work just two minutes in and just 4:55 later found the back of the net to lead 1-0.
  • The Red Hawks expanded on their lead in the 28th minute with an unassisted goal.
  • The 2-0 Ripon lead held going into halftime.
  • A corner kick provided Ripon another goal in the 4th minute, and this ultimately set the final score.
