Marian University men’s lacrosse (1-3, 0-0 NACC) fell to Northland at home by a final score of 18-11.

- Freshman Alton Reynolds was able to cut the Marian lead down to two to open the second quarter, but the LumberJacks quickly responded with a pair of goals to lead 6-2.
- The Sabres scored three of the next four goals to only trail 7-5, but Northland would score the final goal of the second half to lead 8-5 at halftime.
- Northland had another strong start to the second half scoring four of the first six goals to lead 12-7.
- A goal from junior Trevor Stachowski cut the Marian lead down to eight, but Northland answered with four unanswered.
- This gave Northland a 16-8 lead with 8:06 left to play.
- Marian would score three of the final five goals of the game but couldn’t overcome the deficit falling 18-11.
- Marian outshot Northland by a slim 42-36 margin in the defeat.
- Northland had a slim 38-37 advantage in ground balls and won 19 of the 32 face offs.
