Marian University men’s lacrosse received 55 points to finish seventh in the NACC preseason poll, as voted on by the head coaches and sports communication professionals of the league.
Aurora was a unanimous pick to win the conference receiving all 18 first-place votes to go with 162 points. Concordia Wisconsin followed with 135 points and Illinois Tech was next at 122 points. Benedictine was the final institution to eclipse 100 points at 108 to take fourth.
MSOE would finish fifth at 98 points followed by Edgewood with 75. Following Marian was Beloit at 35 with Concordia Chicago rounding out the poll at 20 points.
Marian opens the season at Carroll Wednesday, February 28 to close out a doubleheader against the Pioneers at 7:30 p.m.
