Marian University field hockey (11-6, 3-2 CFHC) saw its season come to a close after falling in the CFHC Tournament Semifinals to Rhodes 2-0.
 

• The Sabres controlled play for most of the opening quarter but it was Rhodes who struck first with 1:48 left in the stanza.
• The 1-0 score held all the way into halftime.
• Marian nearly found an equalizer 2:22 into the third quarter but a defensive save at the line kept Marian off the board.
• The Sabres continued to control play but Rhodes was able to put the game away late with only 1:15 left to play.

• Marian outshot Rhodes 15-8 for the game and 7-4 for shots on goal.
• The Sabres also had seven penalty corners to only one for the Lynx.
• Marian was called for 50 fouls to only 40 for the Lynx.
• Marian is now 1-8 all-time against Rhodes and 0-2 in the conference tournament against the Lynx.

	Senior Jikke Biemans recorded a game-high six shots with two being on goal.
	Freshman Haylie Ochoa had a pair of shots on goal off of the bench.
	Junior Emilee Clarey (10-6) finished with a pair of saves.
