Marian University baseball (4-2, 0-0 NACC) was able to defeat Drew 10-1 before falling to the Rangers 5-1.

GAME 1
- The Sabre offense kept rolling to open the doubleheader scoring in all but one inning.
- Marian was able to take advantage of a pair of errors between the first two innings to build a 4-0 lead.
- Junior Jacob Kleeman also had a triple to drive in a run as part of the early rally in the second inning.
- Drew answered in a big way tying the game at 4-4 in the top of the third.
- The stalemate didn’t last long as a sacrifice fly from senior Brady Zackrison in the bottom half of the inning put Marian ahead 5-4.
- After adding a run in the fourth, Drew would load the bases in the top of the fifth with only one out before junior Michael Martinez ended the threat with a strikeout and fly out.
- Marian was then able to break the game open with four runs in the sixth.
- Senior Logan Radmean and junior James Bornick had extra-base hits in the inning with Rademan driving in two runs with his double.
- A quiet seventh would give Marian its third straight victory.
GAME 2
- The Sabre offense would stall for the first time on the trip dropping its first game in Florida.
- Marian was on the board first when senior Steven Russell drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the second.
- Drew would hit a home run in the bottom half of the second and another in the third to lead 4-1.
- A sacrifice fly from the Rangers put the finishing touches on a 5-1 win for Drew to salvage a split.
