Sabre baseball finishes spring trip with (RV) Bethel

Marian University baseball (4-4, 0-0 NACC) finished its spring trip falling to (RV) Bethel 8-0.

  • Bethel was able to take an early lead on the Sabres after plating six runs in the bottom half of the second.
  • The Royals were able to pad their advantage with two runs in the fourth.
  • Marian had a runner in scoring position in each of the final four innings but were unable to score.
  • The Sabres are now 0-3 all-time against Bethel.

Senior Michael Martinez allowed just two hits over 4.0 innings of relief.
Sophomore Lucas Lemons was 1-for-2 with a walk.
