Marian University men’s soccer (2-3-0, 0-2-0 NACC) had chances but couldn’t capitalize falling 3-1 at Illinois Tech.

- The Scarlet Hawks were able to take control early scoring 18:22 into the game.
- Just 3:52 later, IIT was able to build its lead out to an early 2-0 lead that led into halftime.
- Illinois Tech was able to make it a 3-0 lead after its second unassisted goal in the 69th minute.
- Senior Ryan Azzaline was able to get Marian on the board at the 76:34 mark with the first goal of his career. Fellow senior Isak Olsson assisted the goal.

- The Sabres outshot IIT 17-16 for the game but were outshot 6-5 for shots on goal. Marian outshot IIT 11-6 in the second half.
- Marian was also able to create nine corner-kick opportunities with seven coming in the second half.
- The two squads combined for 26 fouls and five total yellow cards.
- The Sabres are still in search of their first road win at IIT.
