Envision Greater Fond du Lac hosted a ribbon cutting at member organization, Salchert Meats, to celebrate the opening of their new retails space and business expansion.
Salchert Meats is a true family operation that is rooted back to the early 1900’s. In January 2019, excited to return to the family meat roots, Jeff and Katie Fuhrmann and Chris Greuel bought the business. Together, they are looking forward to being an integral part of the community, while teaching their children a sense of purpose and responsibility.
“Since 1928 Salchert Meats has been committed to continuing to produce high quality products that Salchert is known for,” Katie Fuhrmann, co-owner said. “The team at Salchert’s is excited to continue the tradition created before their ownership. The team here is amazing and we’re excited to see what the future holds.”
