Freshman McKenna Repovich of Marian University softball has been named the NACC Pitcher of the Week.

Repovich (Plainfiled, Ill.) earned three victories over six appearances to lead the Marian pitching staff with a 1.96 earned run average.  Repovich would earn the win in both games of a sweep against MSOE and earned a save against Ripon in non-conference action.  She closed out the week with a third win in game two of a non-conference series against Lawrence.  Repovich allowed just nine hits over 9.2 innings of work with an opponent batting average of .250.

Marian opens the NACC Tournament Thursday, May 9 taking on MSOE at 1:30 p.m.  With a victory the Sabres will then take on CUW at 6:30 p.m. but will be eliminated if defeated by the Raiders.
