The Rent Smart Train the Trainer is coming up soon, but there is still time to sign up. This virtual class is very popular, but not available often. It’s designed to help trainers facilitate the Rent Smart program effectively in their own organizations and communities. If you know of any organization or person that would benefit from this training, please forward this flyer! In addition to learning about the program, many strategies will be discussed on how to engage students in person and for online programming.

If you are asking yourself, “What is Rent Smart? It is a FREE 6-session course (virtual or in-person) for renters where participants learn how to find and apply for rental housing, understand their responsibilities as a renter, how to communicate effectively with their landlords and manage housing expenses. Through this, homeless populations and those who have negative rental records are able to increase their ability to find and keep safe affordable housing, thereby increasing their stability.
