Lemonade Day Student Registration Now Open February 1 – March 31

Student registration for Fond du Lac Area’s Lemonade Day is now open! In its sixth year locally, Lemonade Day teaches students in grades 4-6 how to start, own and operate their own business through the tool of a lemonade stand. Throughout the program students learn entrepreneurial skills, how to create a budget, set profit-making goals, serve customers and give back to the local community.

Student registration will be available February 1 to March 31 online at http://lemonadeday.org/fond-du-lac-area or in person at Envision Greater Fond du Lac, 23 S. Main Street, Suite 101, Fond du Lac. This program is free for students due to the generosity of many area business sponsors. Participants are mentored through 7 curriculum lessons which develop business and life skills including goal setting, budgeting and marketing, amongst others.

Parents and Guardians are encouraged to register their children in grades 4-6 and take them through the workbook lessons and Lemonade Day process right at home.

“Each year, Fond du Lac area youth have the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship by setting up their business during the community-wide Lemonade Day. This program teaches invaluable life skills to our future leaders, and wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community,” said Bernadette Ericksen, director of educational programs at Envision Greater Fond du Lac. “Please mark your calendars and join us in supporting our young entrepreneurs on Saturday, May 2.”
