Marian University women’s lacrosse (4-8, 1-1 NACC) rallied late but fell to Beloit 16-12 at home.

- Marian and Beloit went back-and-forth to open the game with each team scoring three times with just 1:45 to play.
- The Buccaneers would have a strong finish to the quarter and led 5-3 going into the second quarter.
- Beloit then dominated the second quarter scoring the first five goals, two being woman-up, to take a 10-3 lead.
- The Sabres were able to score two goals separated by just 22 seconds, though, and only trailed 10-5 at halftime.
- Marian continued to push back scoring the opening goal of the third quarter to only trail by four goals.
- Beloit would respond scoring five of the next goals and led 15-7 with 12:34 to play in the fourth quarter.
- Four unanswered goals from the Sabres made things interesting as Marian trailed just 15-11 with 6:29 to play.
- The two squads would trade goals in the final 5:09 to put the final at 16-12.

- Marian was outshot 42-35 and closed out the game outshooting the Buccaneers 10-4 in the final stanza.
- Each team had 16 draw controls and Beloit held a slim 23-20 advantage in ground balls.
- Marian went just 3-for-9 (.333) on free-position shots, while Beloit was 4-for-7 (.571).
