unior Kendall Pliner of Marian University softball has been named the NACC Player of the Week, through games of Sunday, March 3.
Pliner (Mayville, Wis.) opened her Sabre career on a high note leading Marian past Westminster (Penn.) and Regis. Pliner went 4-for-6 (.667) between the two games with one run scored and four driven in. She also had three doubles giving her a 1.167 slugging percentage for the opening day of the season. Against Westminster (Penn.) she went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four runs driven in.

Marian takes on Wheaton and Illinois College Thursday, March 7 from Kissimmee, Fla.
