Pickart earns second All-NCHA selection

Senior Noah Pickart joined elite Marian University NCAA men’s hockey company becoming just the second defenseman in program history to earn multiple all-conference awards in the NCHA era.

Pickart (Fond du Lac, Wis.) solidified himself as one of the best defenseman to wear a Sabre sweater with another big season.  He finished his season tied for seventh with 21 assists among all skaters, but was tied for second in the category when looking at only defensemen.  His average of 0.78 assists per game was also good for 33rd in the nation for all skaters and seventh for defensemen.  Pickart skated in al 27 games this season recording at least a point 18 times.  He went on to record multiple points in six games with four of those instances being multiple assists.  Pickart had an especially dominant second half of the season recording 15 points over the final 14 games of the regular season.

He closes out his career recording 11 goals with 57 assists for 68 total points over only 83 games played.  Pickart finishes third all-time for defenseman assists and fourth all-time for points from a defenseman.  Pickart joins Gianni Mangone as the only two defensemen in program history to earn multiple All-NCHA selections.  For the history of the entire program, he is just the seventh defenseman to earn multiple First Team All-Conference selections.
