Offensive woes continue for Sabre men’s lacrosse

Marian University men’s lacrosse (2-7, 1-5 NACC) was defeated at home by Illinois Tech with an 11-2 final.

  • The Sabres were able to score first when senior Serge Simard scored 3:05 into the game.
  • The Scarlet Hawks scored twice over the final 5:05 to take a slim 2-1 advantage into the second quarter.
  • Illinois Tech held Marian scoreless until the fourth quarter netting five goals in the second, one in the third and three in the fourth.
  • The Sabres were able to close out the game with a second Simard goal.
