Marian University women’s soccer (1-1-0, 0-0-0 NACC) bounced back with a convincing 5-2 victory at Husson.

- Neither team could find the back of the net for most of the first half until senior Taylor Perl scored with just 1:50 left in the first stanza, assist to fellow senior Elizabeth Vitel.
- An offensive outbreak came in the second half with the two squads combining for six goals.
- The Eagles quickly tied the game scoring just 3:22 into the second half.
- Junior Isabella Goodson then netted her first goal as a Sabre at the 55:03 mark with an assist from senior Lillian Giron as Marian retook the lead.
- Just 4:39 later, junior Abby Larson gave Marian its first multi-lead goal after scoring with an assist from freshman Emily Gordillo.
- After a small break in the scoring, Husson was able to trim the Marian lead down to 3-2 at the 74:39 mark.
- Senior Roza Lezotte quickly built the Marian lead back to multiple goals scoring just 1:08 later with an assist from sophomore Brianna Guelig.
- Gordillo closed out the game scoring with just 52 seconds left to put the final at 5-2.

- Husson held a 16-13 advantage in shots for the game but Marian had more shots on goal by a 9-7 margin.
- Each team had seven shots in the second half.
- This was the first meeting between Husson and Marian.
