Odyssey Theatres is pleased to announce that Paul Fieber has been appointed General Manager of their Fond du Lac 8 Cinema in Fond du Lac, WI.  Paul has extensive experience in managing multiplex cinemas and brings a wealth of knowledge with him.  He has completed his move to Fond du Lac and is looking forward to meeting all of our great movie patrons.

With Paul’s appointment, the Fond du Lac 8 Cinema will re-open from it’s COVID shutdown just in time for the holiday weekend.  “I am pleased to be able to invite patrons to the cinema starting Wednesday and am excited to be able to offer the next in the series of “The Croods: A New Age” as a great way to meet the area families” said Paul.  Paul went on to say “With the theatre following “Cinema Safe” protocols as established from the Nation Association of Theatre Owners, I feel confident we can serve people safely both now and going forward”.

Odyssey would also like to assure everyone plans are still in place to remodel the Fond du Lac 8 but has had to pause those plans due to the pandemic.  With the closures and restrictions as mandated by the government along with the major studios shifting their film slate from 2020 to 2021, the effects have been devastating to every theatre in the country.  Most if not all theatre operators have had to stop or delay expansion and remodeling plans until the pandemic is behind us.
