Nine Aurora Health Care hospitals, more than any other health system in Wisconsin, are being recognized by U.S. News & World Report in its annual listing of the “Best Hospitals for Maternity Care.” The hospitals are classified as “high performing” and are considered the best maternity hospitals in the nation based on well above average outcomes of quality measures, such as rates of unexpected complications, C-sections and exclusive breast milk feeding.

Aurora Medical Center- Manitowoc County, Aurora BayCare Medical Center- Green Bay, Aurora Medical Center- Grafton, Aurora Medical Center- Sheboygan County, Aurora Lakeland Medical Center- Elkhorn, Aurora Medical Center- Kenosha, Aurora Sinai Medical Center- Milwaukee, Aurora Medical Center- Summit, and Aurora West Allis Medical Center

In addition to these “high performing” hospitals, Aurora Medical Center- Bay Area in Marinette, Wisconsin was designated a “Maternity Care Access Hospital” by U.S. News and World Report. This designation is given to hospitals providing quality care to expectant parents in areas that would otherwise have inadequate access to maternity services.
