The community-focused IT and digital services company in Oshkosh seeks to guide small- and medium-sized businesses to their IT solutions.
After years of providing electrical and low-voltage services to businesses for IT installation and maintenance, Dan Shea, chief operating officer of Shea Electric & Communications LLC, has launched Enlighten Digital Technologies LLC.
The new IT and digital services company will fill a niche opportunity to help small- and medium-sized businesses in the communities of Oshkosh, Ripon, Waupun, Fond du Lac, as well as the Fox Cities. Brian Lutze serves as the company’s chief technology architect and administrator.
“We created Enlighten Digital Technologies because we’re educators at heart. Our goal is always to simplify our customers’ lives by reducing the complexity and uncertainty surrounding technology,” said Shea, who is continuing in his leadership role with Shea Electric & Communications while managing the operations of Enlighten Digital Technologies.
The educational component is part of the rationale behind Enlighten Digital Technologies’ new brand identity. The lighthouse icon illustrates the company’s position of guiding its customers to effective solutions. The tagline says as much: “Guiding your solutions.” Finally, the brand’s contemporary, vibrant style reflects its focus on education, trustworthiness, integrity and accountability—all important values for Shea and Lutze’s focus of building partnerships.
“We want to be a trusted partner, not just a vendor,” Lutze said. “We approach each IT situation with a thoughtful and strategic mindset. We’re always looking toward the end result, not just the customer’s immediate need. We understand the importance of the connection and continuity between the sales call, project estimate and work completed. We pride ourselves in talking in language our customers will understand.”
Lutze explains that the connection with Shea Electric & Communications will make life easier for customers of Enlighten Digital Technologies. The two companies will collaborate on the installation process. This approach will result in better customer service.
“Essentially, we always want to be there when our customers need us, doing things the right way. That’s our bottom line,” Lutze said.
