Marian University women’s tennis received 22 points to finish eighth in the NACC preseason poll.
The favorite to win the conference was Illinois Tech with its 120 points and 12 first-place tallies. Edgewood grabbed a pair of first-place tallies and had 101 points. St. Norbert and Concordia Wisconsin each had a first-place vote finishing at 97 and 89, respectively.
MSOE wasn’t far off the pace with 73 points, while Wisconsin Lutheran followed at 46 points. Rounding out the poll was Concordia Chicago (28) and Marian (22).

Marian opens the season at home Tuesday, Sept. 1 taking on Lawrence at 6 p.m. from Fond du Lac High School.
