On behalf of SSM Health, I invite you and your organization to join us in honoring our health care workers, first responders, essential workers and all those who’ve been impacted by the pandemic during National Hospital and Health Care Week next month. As our communities and nation continue to make progress in the fight against COVID-19, we are asking our local municipalities, business community, friends and neighbors to take part in a “moment of silence” at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 10.
Frontline caregivers, first responders and essential workers in every corner of our community have risen as heroes, putting aside their own personal concerns to support us during this pandemic – and businesses, governments and community members have stepped up in incredible ways to support them. We want to show our collective appreciation for these individuals – and also lift in our thoughts and prayers those who have experienced illness and suffering.
This is something simple we can all do to demonstrate strength and unity during a time when many of us have felt helpless. We are thankful for all who have sacrificed – and we know you are too. If your organization would like to join this effort, please click here to submit your information. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].
With permission, we’d like to recognize those organizations who are joining us on our web site, in a mediarelease and within other communications.
We are stronger together and we proved that time and again over the past year. Let us build on that sense of community as we begin the healing process together. Thank you for your service to our community.
Sincerely,
Laura S. Kaiser, FACHE Damond Boatwright, FACHE
