The Department of Public Works would like to inform the motoring public the complete intersection closure of South Hickory Street and South Military Road. The intersection will be closed completely Thursday, August 22 at 0700 AM and remain closed for the remainder of the South Military Road Reconstruction Project. The closure will be in place to allow the contractor to install new underground utilities, replacement of traffic signals, and all associated work related to reconstruction of the intersection.

A signed detour will be in place.
