This year’s Memorial Day parade will be hosted by the Disabled American Veterans. The Parade and ceremony will be conducted on Monday, May 27th, 2024 with the parade staging at the Fives parking lot at 8:45-9:55am and the Parade beginning at 10am on the corner of Rees and Main Streets. The parade will go south on Main Street and end at Veterans Park. The Memorial Day Ceremony will commence at Veterans Park immediately following the parade at 11:30am. The Key Note Speaker for the Ceremony is Retired Master Gunnery Sergeant Doug Fraser, United States Marine Corps.
Organizations desiring to be in the parade must contact the Fond du Lac County Veterans Service Office at 920-929-3117 or 920-929-3120 or email [email protected]. All organizations in parade must be themed toward the meaning of Memorial Day. No candy or other items may be handed out during the parade. Deadline to request to be in the parade is Wednesday May 22nd, 2024.
Out of respect for all those that have died for our country, we request that NO POLITICAL or PROTEST activities be conducted during the parade.
