Meet the Fond du Lac Public Library’s new director, Rachel Fuller, during a meet-and-greet session on Thursday, March 5 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Stop into the Langdon Divers Community Gallery at the library to get to know Fuller as well as enjoy some light refreshments.

Fuller joined the library on Dec. 1, 2025, bringing 14 years of library leadership experience to Fond du Lac.
Prior to joining the Fond du Lac Public Library, Fuller served as associate director and interim executive director for The Urbana Free Library in Urbana, Illinois. Additionally, she has contributed to professional organizations as a board member of the Illinois Library Association and as former board member of the Illinois Heartland Library System.
Fuller earned a master of library and information science from Clarion University (now PennWest Clarion), alongside a master of science in education from Southern Illinois University and a bachelor of arts in English from MacMurray College.
“I am thrilled to lead the Fond du Lac Public Library’s effective and dedicated team,” Fuller said. “My goal is to build on the strong foundation and guide us toward a more strategic and sustainable institution while delivering exceptional programs and services to our community that continue to make Fond du Lac a wonderful place to live.”
Fond du Lac Public Library operates two locations: the Main Library at 32 Sheboygan St. in downtown Fond du Lac, and the Buechel Branch at 1132 E. Johnson St. near Festival Foods. The main library is open daily: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Chapter 52 Bookstore at 52 Sheboygan St. is open Monday through Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., while the Buechel Branch is open weekdays from 2 to 6 p.m., and weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
