Freshman Tyler Meade became the fourth student-athlete from the Marian University bowling program to qualify for the ISC National Championship.

MEN
- The USBC sectionals weekend opened with the ISC qualifier where Meade became second Marian male student-athlete, fourth overall, to qualify for the national championship.
- Meade finished fourth with a total pinfall of 1,463 or 243.8 average joining junior Jaysen Spanbauer as the only Sabre men to qualify for the national championship.
- Spanbauer went on to win the national championship last season.
- Marian then opened ITC play in sixth after the opening day with a total of 6,282 over 32 Baker games, 196.3 average.
- The Sabres rolled better on day two but stayed at the sixth spot finishing the event with 12,882 pins or a 201.3 average.
WOMEN
- On the women’s side, senior Brenna Schiekiera continued her strong play of late and narrowly missed a spot for the ISC National Championship by just 37 pins.
- Schiekera finished 13th with 1,273 total pins or a 212.2 average.
- The Sabre women had a strong start to the ITC qualifying opening in 11th after 32 Baker games with 6,005 pins, 187.7 average.
- Marian showed consistency on day two but slipped just one spot finishing the event 12th at 12,006 pins, 187.6 average.
- The top 12 teams for the event all had over 12,000 pins.
