Marian University women’s volleyball (9-6, 2-2 NACC) easily took care of Rockford 25-11, 25-13, and 26-24 to finish a three-match homestand.

- Marian got things going quickly jumping out to a 10-2 lead to open the match.
- A 7-0 spurt later in the set saw the Sabres build its lead out to 23-8 and eventually take the set.
- The Sabres opened with a modest 11-4 lead to start the second set behind a 5-0 run.
- Rockford trailed by six at 19-13 only to have Marian score the final six points of the set.
- The third set was competitive with the largest lead being just three points.
- After a 20-20 tie, Rockford took a 23-22 advantage and had a set-point opportunity at 24-23.
- A pair of attacking errors from Rockford followed by a kill from sophomore Harley Bartels sealed the Marian sweep.

- Marian had at least 12 kills in each set finishing with a 46-25 advantage for the category. The final set saw Marian record 21 kills.
- The Sabres also only committed 12 errors for the match finishing with a .291 hitting percentage.
- The Sabre defense didn’t allow a service ace, while Marian had eight aces at the service line.
- Marian has now won 10 matches in a row against Rockford with the last six victories being sweeps.
