Marian University women’s volleyball (11-19, 3-9 NACC) defeated Alverno 25-8, 25-22, 25-14 in the final match of the season.

- Marian dominated the opening set jumping out to a 12-2 lead and later using six unanswered points to go ahead 18-5.
- The Sabres were able to close the set with a 6-1 spurt.
- After a 7-7 start to the second, Marian scored four unanswered to lead 11-7.
- The Inferno chipped away at the lead and eventually took the lead at 22-21.
- Marian battled back using three kills and an ace to go ahead 2-0.
- A back-and-forth start saw Marian hold a slim 10-9 lead to start the third set.
- The Sabres were able to gradually build its lead to 19-13 before ending the match scoring six of the final seven points.

- The Sabres finished with a 45-24 advantage in kills and 38-35 edge in digs.
- Marian dominated at the service line recording 15 aces, the second time this season with double-digit aces in a three-set match.
- The Sabres had at least 12 kills in each set and had a season-best .387 hitting percentage.
- Marian improves to 24-0 all-time against Alverno with this being the fifth consecutive sweep.
