Marian University women’s volleyball (6-9, 1-1 NACC) defeated MSOE 25-19, 25-16, and 25-15 for its first win of NACC play.

- The Sabres jumped out quickly on the Raiders to a 9-5 lead but the Raiders scored four straight to tie the opening set.
- Marian responded with seven unanswered points to build a 16-9 lead.
- The Raiders were able to trim the deficit down to four at the end of the set but back-to-back kills from the Sabre offense gave Marian the opening set.
- Another quick start in the second saw Marian jump out to an 11-3 lead.
- Marian was able to build its lead to as large as 12 points at 20-8 before eventually taking the set 25-16.
- The Sabres scored six of the first seven points of the third set only for MSOE to rally and trail 8-6.
- Marian maintained a slim 14-12 lead before scoring the next nine points to lead 23-12 and eventually secure the sweep.

- The Sabres finished with a 41-19 edge in kills and 47-30 advantage in digs.
- From the service line Marian had 10 aces, its fifth match this season with double-digit aces.
- The Sabre defense limited MSOE to just one kill in the second set and a -.011 hitting percentage for the match.
- Marian hit .211 for the match and had at least 12 kills in each set.
- Marian is now 49-14 all-time against MSOE and has won the last three matches.
