Marian University women’s volleyball (11-8, 3-3 NACC) handled Dominican on it’s way to dominant victory in three sets 25-16, 25-16, 25-14.

- Dominican came out of the gates quickly with a 5-1 run in set one but the Sabres answered back on a 9-3 run to take the lead.
- Marian would easily take set one behind a 15-8 run to end the set.
- The Sabres used the momentum from set one to jump out to a 11-6 advantage.
- Marian saw it’s lead grow as large as ten points behind a 10-5 run to put the Sabres up 21-11 in set two before closing out the set.
- The third set saw the two teams trading points with Dominican taking a 7-6 advantage.
- After the Stars took the lead 7-6 Marian would go on a convincing 11-3 run followed up by a 8-4 run to close out the match.

- Marian recorded double digit kills in all three sets while holding the stars to single digit kills in all three sets while hitting .067.
- The Sabres only committed seven errors while forcing 15 Dominican hitting errors.
- The Sabres led in every statistical category with a 41-22 advantage in kills.
- This win marks the first time since 2005 Marian has defeated Dominican on the road.
