Marian women’s soccer puts three on All-NACC lists

Marian University women’s soccer placed three-student athletes on the All-NACC lists.

Emily Gordillo (Compton, Calif.) finishes her career earning her fourth All-NACC selection earning a spot on the second team.  Gordillo becomes the first Sabre to earn four All-Conference awards since Ashley Welk form 2019-2022, and just the third student-athlete in the NACC era to accomplish the feat. She once again paced the Sabre offense scoring five goals with three assists for 13 total points.  She scored a goal and added an assist at Aurora before posting the first hat trick of her career two games later against Benedictine.  One of her goals was the game-winner against the Eagles, and she also netted the game-winner at Whittier.  Gordillo finishes her Sabre career 12th on the all-time scoring list with 67 total points.

Kendall Graves (Fort Thomas, Ky.) continued to be an anchor for the Marian defense earning a spot on the All-NACC Honorable Mention team for a second straight season.  Graves appeared in 17 games making 14 starts logging a total of 1,382 minutes.  She played all 90 minutes in 12 games this season.   The Marian defense allowed the eighth-fewest goals in program history this season with 33 and posted the 10th-lowest goals against average at 1.74.  Graves becomes the first defender to earn back-to-back All-NACC selections since Tracianne Jegla earned three straight from 2019-2021.

Brianna Guelig (New Holstein, Wis.) battled through injuries throughout her career, but ends her time as a Sabre earning an All-NACC Honorable Mention award.  This is her second All-NACC award after earning second team recognition last season.  Guelig found the pitch 13 times this season making seven starts.  She scored four goals with two assists for 10 total points in her limited time.  Guelig had a goal and an assist on the road at Aurora before recording her lone multi-goal game of the season two games later against Benedictine at home.  She finishes her Sabre career tied for 23rd on the all-time scoring list with 47 total points.
