Marian University women’s soccer (0-0-1, 0-0-0 NACC) opened the season with a 0-0 draw against Augustana (Ill.).
 

• Marian controlled the offensive play early, recording six shots in the opening half while holding Augustana (Ill.) to three.
• Despite the offensive pressure from Marian, neither team was able to find the back of the net, sending the match into halftime tied 0-0.
• In the second half, Marian was able to put another five shots on goal, but Marian was unable to find the back of the net.
• Augustana had one final attempt to break the deadlock at 85:38, but the shot missed high right, resulting in the match-ending in 0-0 draw.

• Marian finished with an 11-6 advantage in shots and a 3-2 edge in shots on goal.
• The Sabres held a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks.
• Marian committed seven fouls compared to nine for Augustana (Ill.).
• This is the first time Marian has tied its season opener since 2021.
• Marian is now 1-1-1 all-time against the Vikings.

	Emily Gordillo led the team in shots with three, including one on goal.
	Cristal Muniz (0-0-1) recorded two saves for the second shutout of her career.
	Anna Riley recorded two shots, including one on goal.
