Marian University women’s soccer (11-3-4, 10-2-1 NACC) scored three unanswered goals to defeat Edgewood 3-1 in its final match of the regular season.

- Rain began to fell to open the match and that saw both offenses struggle in the first half.
- After a scoreless opening half, Edgewood opened the scoring just 1:52 into the second half.
- Senior Lillian Giron then scored after a free kick from senior Allison Schnell found the head of junior Abby Larson and set up a shot from the middle of the box in the 62nd minute.
- Freshman Emily Gordillo then gave the Sabres a 2-1 lead in the 74th minute with her seventh goal of the year.
- Giron was able to ice the game with just 4:10 left with her sixth goal of the season with an assist from fellow senior Taylor Perl.

- Marian finished with a 14-9 edge in shots and 10-4 advantage for shots on goal.
- Each team had four corner kicks.
- The Sabres finish with double-digit wins in conference play for the second time in the NACC era.
- Marian clinches the No. 3 seed for the NACC Tournament with the win and will host the quarterfinals Sunday, October 29. The opponent and time will be announced at a later date.
