Marian University women’s soccer (8-3-4, 7-2-1 NACC) clinched a spot in the NACC Tournament with a 3-0 win over Benedictine.

- A scoreless tie at halftime was quickly broken when junior Abby Larson scored her sixth goal of the season just 3:33 into the second stanza.
- Junior Jacqueline Campos quickly made it a multi-goal lead in the 56th minute with her second goal of the year, assist to freshman Emily Gordillo.
- Junior Baylee Alvarado iced the victory scoring her first goal as a Sabre with just 2:52 left to play. Senior Rosa Lezotte earned an assist on the goal.

- Each team had eight shots on goal with Benedictine holding an 11-9 edge in overall shots.
- Marian didn’t create any corner-kick opportunities, but the Eagles had six.
- The shutout was the fourth clean sheet this season for Marian.
- The Sabres are now on a three-match unbeaten streak against Benedictine and 4-1-1 over the last six matches.
- With the win, Marian moves into a tie for third place in the NACC standings and clinches a spot in the postseason tournament.
