Marian University women’s lacrosse received 65 total points to finish eighth in the NACC preseason poll.

Lake Forest was predicted as a heavy favorite to win the conference receiving 198 total points and 18 first-place votes.  Aurora followed at 178 and Edgewood at 159 with both schools earning a first-place tally.  Cornell and MSOE followed and were separated by just seven points at 129 and 122, respectively.  Concordia Wisconsin finished at 98 points with Beloit following just nine points off of that pace.  Marian finished next at 65 with Illinois Tech, 37, and Lawrence, 27, rounding out the poll.

Marian opens its season Saturday, February 21 on the road for a 1 p.m. game at Elmhurst.
