Marian University women’s lacrosse (3-10, 2-4 NACC) scored seven goals in the second quarter as part of a 13-2 win over Beloit. 
 

• Marian scored the first five goals of the game, two from freshman Elizabeth Van Ryzin, to take an early lead. 
• Beloit then scored its only goal of the first half with 9:50 left in the first half.
• A pair of goals from freshman Talia Bellotti and sophomore Chloe Yanez gave Marian a 9-1 lead at halftime.
• The Sabres scored the first three goals of the second half with two coming from junior Justice Cole.
• This gave Marian a 12-1 lead going into the final quarter.
• After a Buccaneer score, Yanez scored her fourth goal of the game to set the final at 13-2.

• Marian finished with a 26-12 edge in shots and allowed only three shots on goal. 
• The Sabres had a 40-27 edge in ground balls. 
• Marian had a strong performance on clears going 14-of-15 (.933).
• The 11-goal differential was the highest total for Marian this season.
• Marian evens the all-time series with Beloit at 3-3.

	Freshman Talia Bellotti had four goals to go with 10 ground ball and four draw controls.
	Sophomore Chloe Yanez scored four goals and had six ground balls.
	Freshman Elizabeth Van Ryzin had a pair of goals and five caused turnovers.
